Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Public Service Commission Jobs 2024:
The Punjab Irrigation Department has advertised the contract position of Zilladar (BS-16) for three years. The applicants must hold a B.A. or B.Sc. with a second division. The degree must be obtained from a recognized university. The age limit for candidates is 19 to 26 years, although relaxations are provided for general and transgender candidates. This appointment is open to male, female, and transgender candidates, but candidates have to belong to certain districts only. The syllabus for the written examination will be uploaded on the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) website.
Another Zilladar (BS-16) position has been published under the service quota. Qualifications and age limits are similar to those of a general post, while relaxations will apply to general and transgender candidates. However, the candidates applying under the service quota will be provided a service certificate from the Irrigation Department. Male, female, and transgender applicants belong to districts specific to this post.
Assistant Protocol (BS-12) is vacant in the Directorate General Protocol, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in the relevant field of guest relations, hotels, or tour operations. The age limit is 18 to 25 years with relaxations for male and female candidates. This post is open to candidates from Punjab, and experience gained in registered private entities will be accepted.
Another post at the Directorate General Protocol is the designation of Assistant Protocol Officer (BS-16) with the same qualifications and experience provisions as the Assistant Protocol position. The degree possessed by the requisitioning candidates should either be an MBA or a Master’s in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics along with the successful completion of two years of post-qualification work experience. The eligibility criteria of this post span an age limit of 25-30 years while giving relaxations for both males and females. This position is available for applicants coming from Punjab: male, female, and transgender.
Males, females, and transgender individuals with domicile in Punjab can apply for the posts.
