Internships at KSEW Fields/Departments
These opportunities are offered in Ship Building Cadres through the Project Internship Program to induction on a contractual basis of selected candidates, based on performance during the internship.
Internships are offered as Technical Assistants and Technicians. Technical Assistants are required for Electrical, Mechanical, Pipe Welding, Pipe Brazing, Pipe Mounting, Welding, NDT, Paint, and Structure.
Technician posts are opening for Mechanical Fitters, Machinists, Welders, Gougers, Steel Fabricators, Hot Formers, Pipe Fabricators/Fitters, Pipe Welders, Brazing, and Cutters.

Eligibility Criteria for the KSEW Internship Program
Technical Assistants:
- DAE in the same field from a recognized institution (Candidates with B.Tech Qualifications will be preferred).
- Candidates who completed OJT/Internship/Short Courses from STS (KSEW) will be preferred.
- Age Limit Maximum: 25 Years.
Technicians:
- Education: Minimum Matriculation
- Candidates who completed OJT/Internship/Short Courses from STS (KSEW) will be preferred.
- Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years
