Eligibility Criteria for College Of Physicians & Surgeon Of Pakistan Jobs 2025:
Assistant Managing Editor:
Responsibilities: Also act as a curator for all content created for CPSP Journal publications, ensuring that all the submitted articles are CPSP-compliant and maintaining high work content quality. Journal issues will be planned through the coordination of submissions, schedules, and deadlines, as well as reviewing and editing content and style of articles. Research and curate topics that will be published in future editions with appropriate articles. Fact- and information-checking and writing the editorial content are also done. Apart from that, developing interesting articles and features for publication while keeping abreast of trends in journal publishing.
Required Qualification: Medical Graduate or Master’s in English/Journalism/Mass Communication.
Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role – Scientific Journals Preferred.
Skills: Impressive communication and administration skills. Very computer proficient.
Language Editor:
Responsibilities: Refining contents by reviewing written texts, considering them for grammar, clarity, and consistency; proofreading there having any bondage to editorial guidelines; and writing with writers to improve content quality.
Requirements: Possessing a bachelor’s degree in English or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in editing or proofreading. Excellent English language skills and meticulousness. Knowledge of style guides and content management tools in editorial work.
Statistician:
Responsibilities: Scrutinize statistical analysis plans related to abstracts and research articles. Recommend modifications based on study design and purposes. Mentor students in their statistical queries.
Qualification: Master’s in Statistics or Master of Science in Biostatistics & Epidemiology (MSBE).
Skill: Expert in doing medical research and relevant statistical software, e.g., SPSS, Minitab, SAS.
