Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Wildlife and Park Department Jobs 2025:
The vital requirement for the aspirants would be the educational qualifications along with physical standards and age limits as prescribed for the respective post. Only those who will qualify for the physical endurance standards will be deemed fit for a shortlist for the test/interview.
Wildlife Inspector (BS-11):
Considering the upper and lower age limits, the applicants should be somewhere between the ages of 18 and 25 years. The educational qualification prescribed is Intermediate (2nd Division) with Science (Pre-Medical) or equivalent for entry into service. Among other physical standards for men, height is 5’7” and above, and a 34”-36” chest with a run of 1600m in 7 min. Important physical standards for women include a height of at least 5’2” and a run of 1600m in 10 minutes. Announced number of posts: 72.
Education Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Qualification Required: For Wildlife Inspector, candidates must require relevant degrees from recognized institutions.
- Experience: The physical standard is required for all candidates without experience.
- Competence: Physical fitness to meet endurance requirements for running; bear minimum knowledge regarding wildlife and ecological management for supervisory and inspection roles.
- Domicile: Only those candidates domiciled in Punjab Province can apply.
Gender: Both males and females are invited to apply. Different physical standards are suitable for each gender, as stated under its respective posts.
